Dili, January 14, 2025 (Média Democracia) – The Ministry of National Liberation Combatant Affairs (MACLN) together with the Secretary of State for Veterans Affairs (SEAV) and the Commissioners of the National Liberation Commission (CCLN) and also the National Liberation Commissions of 13 Municipalities held a press conference to officially publish the Registered Combatant List and validate the second registration of 2009 to the public.
The Minister of National Liberation Fighters Affairs, Gil da Costa Monteiro “Oan Soru” said that the reunion of the registered and validated combatants signing notices of 2009 numbered of 124,782.
“In the second year, it was recorded that 2009 was validated with a total of 102,049 registered orders and from 102,049 registered orders were validated in the period from October 2019 to November 2023, and today it was officially signed as a sign of state recognition to be published in the offices of the Municipal administration and post adaministrative throughout the national territory with a total of 92.59.” He said.
He said, the orders were registered under the following categories;
“The data published here is 92,591 people who will follow 1 scale Ka aged 20-24 years as many as 14 people in all regions, 15-19 years as many as 186 people, 8-14 years as many as 9,375 people, pension for those who are disabled due to being unable to work as many as 359 people, life expectancy pension as many as 22,252 people, single cash compensation as many as 23,560 people, those who are at least 3 years as many as 35,272 people and those who are not combatants as many as 1,574 people. The total that has been mentioned is 92,591 people.” He said
He informed that this was based on Law Number 3/2006 of April 12 concerning National Liberation which regulates early warning twice.
“Law number 3/2024 of June 12, this list was published to the public on January 15, 2025, the list will be published in all regions in the CCLN offices in the Municipalities, in the offices of the municipal authorities and in the administrative posts. Asking interested people to come to the municipality and administrative post where they were born to check the list, because the national will not publish in the Ministry and CCLN Comoro, because those who are registered in the municipality of their own citizenship including Dili will also be published in the municipal office.” He informed
He emphasized that if you want to register for consulate notification, you can visit the veteran consulate channel.
“Through the internet page macln.net, as you know that to access the Ministry channel can be through each mobile phone, the important thing is to write based on the words mentioned, there you can immediately know the electronic data.” He affirmed
He also explained that all national liberation combatants based on the law will presented a reclamation of their data within 69 days.
“The contestation faced by some combatant data, meaning that within 60 days the combatants whose data and citizenship are not correct are reclaimed, will not discuss other issues because the verification carried out in all districts/cities, imagine starting from 2009 ending in December 2023 but the implementation process based on the new regulation is now being issued because the 2025 finances we have just projected finances based on this data.” He explained.
The Ministry has asked the public not to believe anyone who illegally comes to their homes to verify the veterans list before the 15th.
“Illegal people who until now still come to your houses, knock on your door and say ‘through me, everything is easy, in two or three days your money will be received’, do not believe these illegal people,” he informed
Because currently he received information that there were several unknown people who told the registration people that through him (the unknown person) the pension would be received faster, but the person who carried out the activity on the registration data must be from the Ministry of National Liberation Combatant Affairs or from the National Administration (CCLN) or their municipality in the region including Raeoa.
