Dili, February 7, 2025 (Média Democracia) – Two Timor-Leste boxers representing the El-Matador Boxing Club will compete in “How Sport Fight Night Season Five Event” in Bali, Indonesia on February 9, 2025.
According to the Head Coach of El-Matador Boxing Club, Abilio Orlando dos Santos, through this opportunity, El-Matador Boxing Club will delegate two boxers who in the short term will take part in the How Sport Fight Night Season Five event held in Bali, Indonesia.
“We also thank the sponsors who have supported El-Matador Boxing Club such as Caltech, Timor-telecom, Borela Fuel L.da, Tahana, Tauhumoris including Raul Lemos who has been very supportive of the match process in Surabaya and on February 9 will help all boxers,” said head coach, Abilio Orlando.
He continued, his party also expressed gratitude to Xanana Gusmao who has provided financial support to this team and also to the Minister of Youth, Sports, Agriculture and Culture Mr. Mariano Assanami Sabini and apologized to other sponsors who have not been mentioned, please continue to support each other.
“The team will leave in two hours today, we will arrive in Bali and will rest for one night there, tomorrow morning will have a health check at 13.00, then Saturday will continue with the weighing and Sunday will start competing, so continue to support us to bring the name of Timor-Leste in the eyes of the world.” He said.
He continued that he also conveyed to the public that this event is very important especially for Timor Leste, be proud because since independence, boxer Delio has been the target of this event. In addition, boxer Daniel will also compete in this event and he will compete in the second round.
“Regarding residence, we are currently contacting friends there because Raul Lemos is the one who is preparing the hotel for the team that will stay there.
