34 Accredited Training Centers Registered In Timor-Leste

Dili, February 25, 2025 (Média Democracia) – SEFOPE, Rogério de Araújo Mendonça said Timor-Leste is well prepared with accredited and registered training centers established in the country.

“I think the special preparation that you have accompanied, we already have 34 training centers that are accredited and registered, meaning that these training centers have obtained operational permits, at the same time the Australian government provides strong support for labor mobility.” SEFOPE said

He stated that in 2024 the Australian government would provide financial support to the Timor-Leste government to support the training sector.

“You participate in 2024, the Australian government through divinities also supports funds for training areas, in 2025 will also continue to support 2.1 funds in this program, there are additional ones that are conveyed to you.” He added.

He added that in the short term the Australian government will invest 400 million, especially in building accredited training centers to meet current market needs. We see from the skills side, good skills are needed to be able to compete in the overseas job market.

To further explain that young people must seek language insight in order to get the opportunity to work abroad, because currently there are already many registered training centers, totaling 34.
