Dili, March 3, 2025 (Média Democracia) – Reform figure, Lere Anan Timur gave his congratulations in commemoration of Veterans Day which will fall on March 3, 2025. He invited veterans to jointly fight fake maneuvers. He delivered the remarks after attending a national seminar held at the KEP-MRS location, Villa Verde, last Friday.
In an interview with the Reformation figure, Lere Anan Timur, he said that March 3 is an important day, but not only March 3 but from March 1 to March 8 are historic and important days because on those days Timor-Leste rose from destruction and shone again to achieve independence. Congratulations to the veterans who are still alive and who have fallen in the past, but it must be remembered that it was from their suffering that we gained this independence.
“Timor-Leste will continue to move forward, giving value to the suffering, death and darkness of your past. I think on March 3, continue to ask the Ministry, especially veterans, to continue holding commemorations, ask veterans to continue serving the people and continue carrying out their duties as warriors which have started in the past until now.” he said.
He continued, related to the list of veterans that is still unclear, do not look at this list but look at the current reality, then veterans are asked to work together to fight small problems so that society does not maneuvers or make veterans useless, continue to ask veterans to fight wrong maneuvers.
