LONG DISTANCE IS NOT AN OBSTACLE FOR CLAUDINA TO STUDY AT SCHOOL

Liquiça, October 9, 2024 (Média Democracia) – Claudina dos Santos da Silva, 15 years old from Liquiça, Maubara, currently study at Ensino Pre-Secundário of EBC 1 2 São Paulo II.

According to Claudina dos Santos da Silva, so far he has always used a car when going to school because the distance is far. However, for transportation used every day to go to school, each student must spend $ 6.00 per month.

“My school time is in the afternoon, so in the morning I have to help my mother wash the dishes, cook porridge for my younger siblings and other housework because all my older siblings have morning school. In addition, at 10 o’clock I have to finish making lunch so I can prepare myself for school, our school starts at 13.00 and ends at 17.00, the car that takes us to school comes at 12.30 so we are never late to school, if every month we do not deposit money then they will not take us to school.” Claudina said

She continued, in her learning process she always faced various difficulties. Although living in a simple family, she still tried to face all obstacles because she wanted to be a smart person in the future.

“I have a very beautiful dream, because in the future I want to become a doctor, so I can save other people’s lives through the guidance of doctors in the hospital. In addition, from now on I have to study hard so that my dream can come true in the future.” She said.

She added that so far they have lived as farmers to meet their daily needs, even though they have many siblings, but it is through the enthusiasm of their parents that they can meet all their needs.

It is worth noting that she has seven siblings consisting of three boys and four girls and Claudina as the fourth daughter of the seven siblings. Claudina still tries to go to school even though her parents are farmers.
