Dili, January 8, 2025 (Média Democracia) – Life as a trader is not easy for everyone, but this is also based on everyone’s efforts, when you want to succeed, you have to fight various challenges to get food to sustain family and daily needs.
Joanina Maia de Araújo, 27 years old from Bobonaru, now lives in Dili and she created small business activities on the sidewalk to secure the family’s economy.
“Over the years I lived as a trader to run a small business as selling cigarettes, water, pop mie, coffee on the sidewalk to get money to support family needs. I made a small business from the money I borrowed from Moris Foun Group (GMF) with a total of 300 USD, so every week I had to deposit 13.35 USD to six months.” She said
She continued that as long as she borrowed money from GMF to run a small business, she had to keep trying because every week she had to deposit 13.35 USD to GMF.
“Because in Moto Moris Foun Group said people can be sick but money does not inevitably have to pay for every week to deposit based on the amount we borrowed so that in the future we can borrow again to run a business.” She added
She added more that the money she borrowed from GMF because she had a plan to create a small business to meet the needs of her family.
“I have always opened a stall carrying goods to be sold at the cultural house but at that time his holiness visited our country the security of the city Dili expelled us from there so I decided to move to the highway until now, and every day I always get 50 USD, but when Rain I only got 20 USD down because of condition.” She emphasized
To further explain that although Dili’s city security always expelled but as traders who run small businesses on the sidewalk continue to try to run her business to get money to support the economy of her family and pay the school fees of her children.
