Dili, September 3, 2025 (Média Democracia) – As part of the Dili International Trade Expo 2025, PT Valente Tirta International, a mineral water company based in Jakarta, together with Fresca Water Timor-Leste, formalized a cooperation agreement for mineral water production in Timor-Leste.
According to an official from Valente, all Fresca Water production machines meet international standards, ensuring quality drinking water for the people of Timor-Leste.
“This is a memorandum of understanding. We, from PT Valente International, a Jakarta-based mineral water company, want to collaborate in production. We will share our brand and produce Fresca Water. I see clearly that their factory has strong potential,” said Valente International representative, Ahmad Hadari, speaking to journalists at CCD.
He explained that this step is crucial to provide the people of Timor-Leste with mineral water of proper quality for consumption. For this reason, they are interested in establishing good collaboration with companies in Timor-Leste, starting now and into the future.
“Today we came here to sit together and also speak with companies in Timor-Leste, and we have signed this memorandum of understanding. This means we will start operations in 2026,” said Ahmad Hadari.
The Indonesian representative further explained that through this agreement, they will supply production machinery to Fresca Water Company, enabling them to also produce Valente’s mineral water brand in Timor-Leste.
“Yes, we will also commercialize in Timor-Leste, but the product will be produced by Fresca. We will also work to ensure that, when Timor-Leste officially becomes an ASEAN member, we will have the opportunity to export to other countries, such as Portugal and nations associated with Timor-Leste,” explained Ahmad Hadari.
Meanwhile, António Lay, CEO of Agua Fresca, emphasized that Valente is an internationally recognized company. The Indonesian company was introduced to Fresca through the Tri Invest team.
